Crane Operator Jobs In Qatar 2024

We are actively seeking highly motivated and experienced Crane Operators or Assistant Crane Operators to join our team in Qatar. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical operations on an offshore jack up rig utilizing the Amphion system.

Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently operate the crane ensuring compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
• Conduct pre operational checks and maintain detailed logs.
• Signal and communicate clearly with crew members during lifting and lowering operations.
• Participate in rigging and securing of cargo.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures.
• Must contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Essential:
  • Proven experience as a Crane Operator or Assistant Crane Operator on offshore jack up rigs.
  • In depth understanding of the Amphion system and its operation.
  • Valid and up to date Sparrow Certificate Stage 3.
  • BOSIET Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training certification.
  • H2S Hydrogen Sulfide training certification.
  • International Certificate of Competency (ICC) not including the Viswam Cert. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • • You must have ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging hard environments.
    • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Desirable:
    • Previous experience working in the Middle East.
    • Proficiency in additional relevant crane operation certifications.
    • Advanced knowledge of lifting and rigging techniques.
